The aims of this short film competition are:
- To promote Bristol as a film making hub despite the recent downturn in film & TV job opportunities across the sector.
- To promote a competitive platform where professional film makers in Bristol can produce, film and edit their short films over the course of a weekend.
- To be the inaugural annual competition of its type, showcasing Bristol’s talent and a networking opportunity for industry professionals in a quick turnaround work environment.
The ‘production teams’ can either be assembled themselves or we will help with this process. They will all mirror a professional production model with teams of 6-7 people, including the Producer, Director, DOP, Editor, Sound Recordist and Runners
